Does solventless mean cleaner?
Not automatically. A properly purged hydrocarbon extract passes the same residual-solvent screen every batch on our shelf goes through, and a reading is either under the limit or the batch does not ship. Solventless means no solvent was ever involved, which some people prefer on principle rather than on measurement.
The other words on the jar
- Badder and budder — whipped during purge, softer texture.
- Sugar — crystallised, granular.
- Diamonds — isolated crystalline THCA, usually with a sauce.
- Crumble — drier, purged longer at lower heat.
- None of these describe potency or quality. They describe consistency.
