Every cannabinoid on the label.
Cannabis makes over a hundred cannabinoids; five account for almost everything on a shelf label. THC is the intoxicating one. CBD is not. THCA is what becomes THC when heated. CBN and CBG appear in smaller amounts and are reported on every Cannalab47 certificate.
Which cannabinoids actually matter on a label?
| Cannabinoid | Intoxicating? | What it is | On our shelf |
|---|---|---|---|
| THC (delta-9) | Yes | The compound cannabis is bought for | Every product carrying a THC figure |
| CBD | No | Not intoxicating at any dose | 257 listings report a CBD figure |
| THCA | No, until heated | The acid form THC comes from | 7 listings name it |
| CBN | Barely | Forms as THC ages; usually a minor figure | 82 listings name it |
| CBG | No | Present in small amounts in most plants | 49 listings name it |
All five are reported on every certificate we publish, alongside the terpene profile and the purity screens. That is the point of publishing all forty-seven analyses rather than the one number that markets well.
What is the difference between CBD and THC?
One intoxicates and the other does not, and that is genuinely the whole of it as far as a shelf label goes. Products are sold as THC-dominant, CBD-dominant, or in a stated ratio where the first number is CBD. A ratio tells you the balance but not the amount — read the milligrams too. THC vs CBD covers it in full.
What are delta-8 and delta-9?
Delta-9 is ordinary THC — the same compound named by its chemical structure. Delta-8 is a different isomer, generally reported as less potent, and almost always manufactured from hemp-derived CBD rather than extracted directly. It is sold in some markets under the federal hemp threshold, which is written against delta-9; many states legislate against that reading and their law overrides.
Does a higher cannabinoid number mean a better product?
No, and this is the most expensive misconception on any dispensary shelf. Potency sets a ceiling; the terpene profile decides the experience. Two batches within a point of each other on total THC can feel entirely different, which is why we publish the whole panel for every one.
Questions people actually ask
What is CBG?
A minor cannabinoid present in small amounts in most cannabis plants. It is not intoxicating. It is reported on every certificate we publish, and 49 of our listings name it directly.
What is CBN?
A cannabinoid that forms as THC ages and oxidises, which is why older flower tends to show more of it. It is barely intoxicating and usually appears as a small figure on a panel. 82 of our listings name it.
What is the difference between delta-8 and delta-9?
Delta-9 is ordinary THC named by its chemical structure. Delta-8 is a different isomer, generally reported as less potent, and usually manufactured from hemp-derived CBD. Cannalab47 sells neither as a hemp product — everything here is state-licensed adult-use cannabis.
Do you sell CBD-only products?
257 listings report a CBD figure, and some are CBD-dominant. CBD is not intoxicating at any dose, but a CBD-dominant product may still contain some THC, so read the milligram figures on the certificate rather than the headline description.
